Drama Competition 2025
The Inter-House Drama Competition was held on the 27th of June, 2025. This year’s theme was “Adaptations of Shakespeare’s Plays.” Each house brought a unique interpretation on to the stage: Cauvery House presented The Merchant of Venice, Godavari House presented Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, Narmada House adapted Othello, and Sutlej House interpreted Romeo and Juliet.
The judges for this year were Mrs. Shaan Katari Libby and Mr. Vinod Anand.

This year, the theme for Drama Competition was ‘India’ and each house had to perform an original short play. Cauvery house emerged winners and were awarded with both, ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Script’ awards.

Each house presented original comedies which were scripted and directed by themselves. Sutlej’s play entitled, ‘Stupidity pays’, is a hilarious account of a bank robbery committed by a couple that went terribly wrong.

This year, each house presented one-act plays. At the end of the drama competition, the results surprised everyone as Cauvery, Godavari and Narmada placed first, while Sutlej came in second.
