The eagerly awaited Drama Competition was held on the 21st June, 2024. This year, each house had to perform an original twelve-minute play based on stories by Indian authors. The Judges for the event were Ms. Mahitha Ravilla and Ms. Sameera.

This year, the theme for the Drama Competition was ‘History’. The judges for the event were Mr. Amarendran, a theatre personality and author and Mr. Vinod Anand, a theatre actor, director and voice artist.
This year, the theme for the Drama Competition was ‘Psychological Thrillers’. Each house had to perform an original short play of fifteen minutes duration.
This year, the theme for Drama Competition was ‘India’ and each house had to perform an original short play. Cauvery house emerged winners and were awarded with both, ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Script’ awards.
Each house presented original comedies which were scripted and directed by themselves. Sutlej’s play entitled, ‘Stupidity pays’, is a hilarious account of a bank robbery committed by a couple that went terribly wrong.
This year, each house presented one-act plays. At the end of the drama competition, the results surprised everyone as Cauvery, Godavari and Narmada placed first, while Sutlej came in second.
