Swimming Meet 2012

The Sishya Inter House Swimming Meet was held on the 6th of October and a total of 209 students participated in the meet across several events.

Nikita Bhaiya of Cauvery broke two meet records in 50 m Freestyle (0:30:46sec) and 50 m Backstroke (0:36:46sec) and set 2 new meet records in 25 m Freestyle (0:15:01sec) and 25 m Backstroke (0:18:63sec). Sumer Malhotra of Sutlej set a new meet record in 50 m Breast stroke (0:36:89 sec) while Cauvery House set a new meet record in the 4 x 25 m Freestyle Relay for Junior Boys (1:10:52 sec).

The best swimmers of the meet were Sumer Malhotra of Sutlej and Nikita Bhaiya of Cauvery.

Cauvery won the Best Girls House Trophy with a top score of 139 points while Sutlej won the Best Boys House Trophy with 120 points.

The Overall Champions Trophy was won by Cauvery with a grand total of 233 points. Sutlej came in second with 225 points followed by Godavari with 88 points and Narmada with 55 points.
