Music Competition 2023
The 2023 Inter House Music Competition was held on Friday, the 27th of October. Students from Grade 6 and above put on an electric, soul touching performance that the crowd was absorbed in.
The judge for the Indian performance was Mrs Samantha Chandhar and Miss Prithvee Rajesh judged the western performances.
The results were as follows.
- Amongst the Indian group performances, Cauvery placed first, followed by Sutlej, Narmada, and Godavari.
- In the Indian solo performances, Thriambak Balasubramanian from Cauvery placed first, followed by Skanda Subramaniam from Narmada.
- In the western group performances, Sutlej took the title of first place, followed by Cauvery, Godavari, and Narmada.
- In the western solo performances, Swara Laya Shashank from Sutlej placed first, followed by Taraana Ila Prashanth from Cauvery.
- The best instrumentalist was Ezra Ivan Nargunam from Cauvery on the guitar.
- The overall result was a tie between Sutlej and Cauvery for first place, followed by Godavari and Narmada.
