SISHMUN 2025

The sixteenth edition of SISHMUN, Sishya’s annual Model United Nations conference, took place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of October, 2025. The event saw numerous delegates participating from various schools across the state. The event began with the Opening Ceremony, where the Chief Guest, Mr. A.K. Sriram, a reputed lawyer and advocate, addressed the gathering of excited delegates and students. Furthermore, the Secretary-General of SISHMUN 2025, Laxman P.C, as well as the Deputy Secretary-General, Rishabh Narayanan, addressed the crowd. The Sishya School Choir performed a medley of songs, and the Sishya School Band gave a riveting performance.

  9. World Press

 

Committee proceedings were productive and engaging, with committees discussing numerous matters of geopolitical relevance, such as the matter of terrorism funding, the matter of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs), and many more. The delegates expertly handled such topics with professionalism and skill.

 

The event concluded with a Closing Ceremony, where a few Sishya students regaled the audience with an amazing dance. Sankara Senior Secondary School was awarded the Best Delegation Award.

 

SISHMUN 2025 was a unique and engaging experience, showcasing the organisational skills of the Organising Committee, as well as the skills of students from both Sishya and other schools alike.
