Independence Day celebrations 2025

This year’s Independence Day celebrations were a vibrant blend of music, dance, and heartfelt tributes to our nation. The program opened with the stirring “Anthem of Bravery” presented by Grade 5. Soon after, the stage was a riot of colour as Classes 3, 4, and 5 presented a delightful medley of folk dances, celebrating India’s cultural heritage. Adding to the spirit, Mia Mohan of Class 5C delivered a crisp and meaningful speech on “What is Independence Day?”

The audience was then transported into the alleys of history with the thought-provoking skit, “Operation Sindoor,” performed by Classes 4 and 5. Class 6 set a soulful tone with their symphony “Jashn-e-Azaadi,” while Class 8 raised the energy with their fiery dance, “Azaadi ka Josh.” Class 7 added a unique touch by singing Usha Uthup’s lively number “I’m Just Like You.”

Class 9 took over with their graceful “Melody of Independence” dance, followed by a moving moment when Sanjana S.K of Class 11 recited her poem, “Salute to Our Motherland.” Keeping the patriotic fervour alive, Classes 10 and 11 performed the poignant dance piece “The Last Letter.”

The grand finale was Class 12’s electrifying performance on “India Wale,” leaving the crowd clapping, cheering, and brimming with national pride.
