Annual Day 2022
The Annual Day of 2022 held on 1st September was a momentous occasion for Sishya, marking 50 years of excellence in education. The evening was a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and drama, showcasing the talent of Sishya’s senior students.
The event began with an invocation by Grade 10 students, setting the tone for the evening. This was followed by a medley of songs by the batch of 2023.
The Principal’s report highlighted the school’s achievements and student accomplishments in the past year. The report was a testament to Sishya’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic education.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Kapil Dev, former Indian cricketer, presented trophies to the toppers of ICSE and ISC 2021 board exams, recognizing their academic excellence. Mr. Kapil Dev, one of India’s most iconic cricketers, brought immense inspiration and excitement to the event.
The cultural program that followed was a masterpiece of storytelling, transporting the audience to different eras of India’s past. The students’ performances brought to life stories from Krishna Deva Raya to Prithviraj, Gandhi Ji to Bhagat Singh. The elaborate props, costumes, and backdrops added to the grandeur of the event, creating an immersive experience for the audience.
