Dance Competition 2025

The Dance Competition was held on Friday, 17th October 2025, featuring both Indian and Western dance styles. The event was judged by Mrs. Sharmada Vishwanathan for Indian dance and Mrs. Sagarika Ganeshyam for Western dance. The competition showcased talented dancers in both styles, with themes highlighting the diversity and richness of Indian culture and the dynamic energy of Western hip-hop.

 

The Indian dance competition had a theme of “Divided by regions united by dance”, which brought together dances from different regions of India to showcase their unique styles and traditions. The competition was fierce, but in the end, Cauvery emerged as the winner, followed by Godavari in second place and Narmada in third. The dancers impressed the judges with their technical skill, artistic expression, and overall performance quality.

 

The Western dance competition themed “Hip Hop” brought together dancers who showcased their skills in this high-energy style. Narmada took the top spot, followed by Cauvery in second place and Sutlej in third place. The dancers impressed the judges with their energetic movements, creative choreography, and overall stage presence.

 

The event was a resounding success, with both Indian and Western dance styles receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. The judges praised the dancers for their talent and dedication, and congratulated the winners on their achievements. Overall, the dance competition was a celebration of the diversity and richness of Indian culture, as well as the energy and creativity of Western dance styles.
