School Fete 2014

2nd of August was a day of revelry in Sishya, as it was time for the annual Sishya Fete. Students and parents from all over the city came to enjoy themselves at the various food and games stalls, each set up and managed by a particular class.

The notable stalls this year included a 3-D show, bowling alley, hair styling stall and a school store and accessories stall. There was also a Disney house, a miniature gaming arcade, and the ever popular food court. The toy train and merry-go-round were a great hit. Children of all ages had something to amuse them, from bouncing castles, a zorbing ball and horse rides for the very young, to games of skill for the older ones. A Fireless Cooking competition sponsored by Hot Breads was also held for the students in three age group categories. This event saw the participation of budding Master Chefs and they were keenly watched and cheered by their parents and the audience too.

The grand raffle draw was watched by many eager eyes, who were all hoping to be among the lucky few to win a prize. This year, the rains did not play spoilsport and the event was as always, a resounding success and everyone had a wonderful time.
