School Fete 2013

29th of June was a day of revelry in Sishya, as it was time for the annual Sishya Fete. Students and parents from all over the city came to enjoy themselves at the various food and games stalls, each set up and managed by a particular class.

The notable stalls this year included a 3-D show, photo booth, hair styling stall and a school store and accessories stall. There was also a book stall, a miniature gaming arcade, and the ever popular food court. The toy train was a great hit. Children of all ages had something to amuse them, from bouncing castles, a zorbing ball and horse rides for the very young, to games of skill for the older ones. 2 DJ’s with their juggling acts were also in attendance which raised the verve and enthusiasm level of the crowd.

The grand raffle draw was watched by many eager eyes, who were all hoping to be among the lucky few to win a prize. This year, the rains did not play spoilsport and the event was as always, a resounding success and everyone had a wonderful time.
