Sishyamrita 2025, Sishya, Adyar’s Interschool cultural event was held on July 3rd, Thursday and July 4th, Friday 2025. The first day saw 14 schools participating and Day two had 15 schools in attendance.
There were 17 events spread over two days which saw enthusiastic participation from visiting schools.
The campus was abuzz with laughter and applause as students mingled with each other and the hosts took special care of the visitors. Sishya Interact Club had set up a food Stall which served Pizzas, Paani Puri and Iced Tea. A vendor, Mr & Mrs. Idly served mouth-watering potato rolls, fries and many other delicacies.Our very own canteen made sure thirst and hunger pangs were quenched in the most hospitable way.
Vaels’ International School won the prestigious SISHYAMRITA Championship, 2025. This year, we introduced a new prize for the Grand champion, which winners of four flagged events competed for. The prize was won by Rishi Surana of Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram. Trinity Roshan of Don Bosco Matriculation School, Egmore came a close second. Sishyamrita closed with a vibrant dance by the host team and children went back promising to be back next year.
