Prefects Investiture 2022
After Covid slammed the brakes on the normal event calendar of Sishya, we got back into renewed zest with the newly appointed heads. The student body leaders – Head Girl, Head Boy, and Sports Captains – were appointed by the school and the captains nominated to fight it out in a fair and free election. Electioneering and campaigning on campus mimics political canvassing—compelling rhetoric, colorful posters and banners, and interactive sessions and speeches.
Following the elections, all student leaders are formally invested in their positions in a solemn ceremony at the beginning of the year. The student office bearers and leaders wield responsibility in their tenure through the entire academic year, playing a decisive role in steering and representing the student body.
Unlike every other year, investiture ceremony took place on the 15th of June,2022, as the following leaders took the oath to adhere to their responsibilities.
