The
Annual School Exhibition was held on the 12th of November
2011. The rain, this year decided not to play spoilsport,
much to the joy of students and relief of teachers and
parents alike.

This year, the
Junior School decided to explore the world through coloured
glasses. Beginning with the juniors, L.K.G put up a
display of their various art and craft work. Classes
U.K.G. to Class 5 each dealt with an elaborate and colourful
presentation of the geography and flora and fauna of
the various physical features of our beautiful world.
It was amazing to know the extent of information one
could gather with regard to a single biome. A truly
learning experience. Deserts were the topic chosen by
U.K.G while Class 1 decided to explore the various features
and highlights of islands around the world. Forests
were the topic for Class 2 and Class 3 took us on a
tour of the various mountains, including a live demonstration
of an active volcano. Class 4 chose to explore rivers
while Class 5 dealt with oceans.
Classes 6, 7 and
8 showcased the knowledge acquired in the various subjects
that was done during the year. They put up various charts
dealing with literature and history and geography besides
having a few working models. They also did a few experiments
and conducted quizzes and puzzles which was much appreciated
by all.
Class 9 dealt
with the advancement of science and technology while
Class 10 discovered the various uses and benefits of
herbs and spices. Their culinary efforts were much appreciated.
Class 11 showed us the magic of lights displaying the
science and beauty of lighting while Class 12 displayed
their creative side which included a skit and music
and art.
The artwork on
display by the senior Art students was much appreciated
by all. There was also a display of the glass blowing
work of the Class 12 students and pottery work done
by the students of Classes 1 -12. All in all, the School
exhibition was a great success, reflecting the efforts
of all the students and teachers involved.
